Literature Review是什么？老師可以簡(jiǎn)單介紹一下嗎？
1.Length--長(zhǎng)短不同
a survey is often shorter than a review article. The survey in my field could be a few to a dozen of pages. A review could be over a hundred pages.
2.Depth--深度不同
?reviews are deeper than surveys since they tell more details about individual works, their relationships one to another and directions forward.
?They include also a critique of the work as to its limitations, which are not found in most surveys.
3.Structure--結(jié)構(gòu)不同
reviews tend to be too detailed, given their depth, and would provide an anatomy of the related work, and neighboring areas or topics, which is not the case with surveys.
4.Purpose--目的不同
a review could stand on its own as a work, where surveys are often part of a larger work — the related work section in a paper.
